Where Weddings meet Words…

If you’ve spent any time around me, you already know that I love weddings.

Not just the pretty details, although I certainly appreciate a beautiful tablescape, fresh flowers, and a perfectly timed sunset. What I truly love are the people behind the celebration. I love the stories, the relationships, the families, the laughter, the tears, and the incredible privilege of witnessing two people begin their lives together.

For more than 15 years, weddings have been a huge part of my life. I’ve watched nervous grooms take deep breaths before seeing their bride. I’ve straightened veils, pinned boutonnieres, fluffed dresses, carried bouquets, solved last-minute emergencies, and celebrated countless “I do’s.” Every wedding is different, but every one reminds me why I fell in love with this industry in the first place.

What many people don’t know is that alongside my love of weddings, I’ve always had a desire to write.

I’ve always been someone who notices the little things. The quiet moments. The lessons learned. The stories worth telling. Sometimes those thoughts stay tucked away in my head, and sometimes they find their way onto paper. Over the years, I’ve realized that weddings have given me a front-row seat to some of life’s most beautiful moments, and I have a feeling there are stories and experiences that might encourage, inspire, or even help someone else along the way.

So, this blog is where those two passions meet.

You’ll find wedding planning tips, behind-the-scenes insights, budget-saving ideas, vendor advice, and lessons I’ve learned from years of coordinating weddings. But you’ll also find personal reflections, thoughts on marriage, family, relationships, and the little moments that make life meaningful.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that weddings aren’t meant to be productions designed to impress everyone else. At their heart, they’re about two people choosing each other. The sweetest weddings are often the simplest ones—the ones filled with intention, joy, and genuine love.

My hope is that this space feels a little like sitting across the table with a friend over coffee. Whether you’re planning a wedding, celebrating a marriage, raising a family, or simply stopping by to read a story, I’m glad you’re here.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

With love,
